Britney Spears passed through tough time starting from late 2006 to mid 2008. Britney Spears was greatly relieved after the seemingly endless legal battle of children was settled between her and Kelvin. Subsequently Britney Spears is coming back into the limelight and has again started taking serious interest in her pop-star career.
On 1 October 2008, Bronx’ John Philip Sousa Middle School has recently named their music studio in the name of Britney Spears. During the ceremony, Britney Spears remained present and donated $10,000 to the school.
MTV signed a deal with Britney Spears and her recording company ‘Jive Records’ to release her documentary film ‘For the Record’ that will be aired on 30 November 2008, two days before the release of ‘Circus’.
On 21 October 2008, Britney Spears’ August 2007 hit and run case involving driving without license was dismissed by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Steele, who declared it as a mistrial.
